The user profile is excluded from everything else on the machine. I'll probably set up exit point programs when we're done too as a belt and suspenders check. This is the first ODBC we've done at this site. UPS seemed to think our code level was OK, so they are trying a scratch reinstall as we speak. (Yesterday's normal uninstall/reinstall didn't seem to do it, but it left behind many configuration settings.) Doug
