So, if Jill does this, Save 21 should now run properly, no? I remember a similar problem once, a CE tried to end QINTER from a PC attached to QINTER (WTH!). It bombed out of course. I watched him like a hawk after seeing that. -----Original Message----- From: Smith, Mike [mailto:Mike_Smith@RGCResources.com] Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2001 10:31 AM To: 'midrange-l@midrange.com' Subject: RE: Probably very easy, Newbie question yes, TFRCTL QCTL -----Original Message----- From: Draper, Dale [mailto:dale.draper@seu.sega.com] Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2001 1:35 PM To: 'midrange-l@midrange.com' Subject: RE: Probably very easy, Newbie question Guys, isn't there a command whereby she can transfer her current job to QCTL ? -----Original Message----- From: Jill Grine [mailto:JillG@gtsoftware.com] Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2001 10:29 AM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: RE: Probably very easy, Newbie question Chuck, thanks for pointing out that I was doing exactly what I hate when mainframe users do it! If I had just pressed PF18 like you all had said, I could have had the answer sooner. It is showing the message "ENDSBS *ALL NOT ALLOWED IN CURRENT ENVIRONMENT", along with other miscellaneous messages. When I listed all active jobs, QSECOFR is listed under QBASE. Safe guess that I am not in console mode, so can't run this command? -----Original Message----- From: Chuck Morehead [mailto:cbmorehead@nokuse.com] Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2001 1:11 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: Probably very easy, Newbie question <snip> > When I do WRKJOB, then 10, and it shows 3>>WRKJOB, PF10 doesn't change the > display and <snip> Note the previous emails about looking at the job log. After pressing F10 you need to press F18 (or Shift-F6, depending on your keyboard). F10 displays details, but it doesn't reposition the screen. F18 takes you to the bottom of the log, which in essence displays the last lines (about 20?) lines from the log. If you do not press F18 the only thing on the screen that will change when pressing F10 (in this case) is the command key listing at the bottom of the screen.
