Is your company adding a footer to every sent email?? -----Original Message----- From: Leland, David [mailto:dleland@Harter.com] Sent: Wednesday, December 19, 2001 11:47 AM To: 'midrange-l@midrange.com' Subject: HTML posts This message is in MIME format. Since your mail reader does not understand this format, some or all of this message may not be legible. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I cannot figure out why my e-mails to Midrange-L are always in HTML. I'm using Outlook 2000 and I always check to make sure that the format I'm sending in is "Plain Text". When I type them up, they're plain text. I can tell because I don't have any options for formatting of text (bold, underline, etc.). After I send an e-mail, I check it in my "Sent items" and it's "Plain Text". What gives - can anyone shed any light as to why my e-mails to Midrange-L always show up as HTML? Dave p.s. We're using Exchange Server 5.5, I think. p.p.s. Please don't start another HTML vs. text "war". I just want to know if anyone knows why this is happening. _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
