This point is relevant to sites that integrate IIS with OS/400 for Web serving. You can use IIS as the primary Web server. Give it the work of serving static pages. When a request comes along for dynamic content, have an IIS script filter the request and pass it along to the 400. No network to traverse. Just the internal bus.
