Make sure the parameter ( Drop line at signoff ) is set to *NO. Since the 5494 acts like it is a switched connection I have had to change this value in the past. If I remember right the last device to signoff would drop the controller. ------------------------- Bryan Dietz 3X Corporation steven.donnellan@simo njersey.com To: midrange-l@midrange.com Sent by: cc: midrange-l-admin@midr Subject: Re: 5494(Document link: Bryan Dietz) ange.com 12/18/2001 11:36 AM Please respond to midrange-l This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I don't know! Manually created the devices with a CRTDEVD and the manual so I could work out the device addresses and after varying on the devices and getting the remote site to power down the screens and power them back on again, eventually they 'bit' and have rejoined us. I don't know why they disappeared in the first place or why AUTOCFG wouldn't rescue me... Spooky.
