Hello,

i have written a "Auto-Logon"-program for the VI/Client for Windows V2R3
in Visual Basic using the OLE-Api CreateObject("Vic.Application").
The program starts the EKDVICLT.EXE as a hidden task and establish a hidden
connection to VI/client, so that the next document request (coming from
AS/400)
can use this connection. This works fine under my profile.
But it doesn't work if the current user has only userrights.

Therefore i have written the "Auto-Logon" in C++ using the
SimLibLogon - Api with the session type SIM_SS_NORMAL.
This works fine with userrights but the connection ends right away.

What can I do to start a hidden instance of the VI/Client in C++ ?
Or simplier is it possible to logon with OLE-Api with the session type
SIM_SS_NORMAL?

Thanks in Advance
Michael Steibert
