Palace, You may be guarding the palace, but AFAIK, david and Don are still the kings of this list. People "endorse" products all the time. Does this rule apply to anybody who posts info on favorable results with a product, or just me...?!? ===> I need to correct a serious mis-impression you have, however: I don't endorse ANY products. Period. I've seen a lot of good info from John Earl, on this list, and heard many, MANY good reports on their product from others on this list. I'm passing along this information, same as I passed on the tip about Simon Coulter's package. All I'm doing is passing on what I think is interesting, and if I study the product and find it delivers what it says, I'll pass that along too. If I think it stinks, I'll pass that along as well... Been doing that, for some time now, (same as a lot of folks here). Your's is the first complaint. Seems like it's OK as long as I'm endorsing or ranting on an IBM product... but not other products...? I have no financial interest in PowerTech, BTW. Also BTW, this post lead to a phone call with Steve Martinson of PentaSafe. Have not seen many posts from him, so making this connection made the post worthwhile. For the two of us, anyway, if for nobody else. jt | -----Original Message----- | From: midrange-l-admin@midrange.com | [mailto:midrange-l-admin@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Palace Guard | Sent: Friday, December 14, 2001 4:42 PM | To: midrange-l@midrange.com | Subject: Re: Security simpler and cheaper with iSeries | | | Blush all you want!!
