"I'm not following the "moving target" bit,"

When I used the "search the Faq" function, it brought me here:
http://faq.midrange.com/index.pl?cmd=searchForm&file=1

And searching gave what looked to be archived postings. (was led astray a
bit by the date parameter) Looking again, more thorougly as I should have in
the 1st place, show me to be in error.

Thank you for the FAQ!

Dale

Yes. http://faq.midrange.com, page down to the "search" link at the lower
left and use "QMQRY" without the quotes. There's an entry there at
http://faq.midrange.com/index.pl?_highlightWords=qmqry&file=106 that Bill
Reger posted to this list in Jan 2000.

I'm not following the "moving target" bit, but then again, I'm a bit slow.
I started on a static FAQ, but got more input on the background colour than
I ever got on the content. I have been trying to put entries into the
faq-o-matic when time permits, but I am never certain if the entries I chose
actually help anybody, partly because I rarely see an answer to a question
that goes something like "it's in the FAQ." I fear I'm just not choosing
the right topics.
