I suppose this is not directly AS/400 related but there seems to have been
enough discussion lately to warrant this question.

Does anyone have an idea of a book that covers encryption basics (PGP, SSL,
SSH, VPN, Public Key, Private Key, HTTPS, Telnet, FTP, etc.)? There is of
course some relevance to the AS/400 but this is more just to understand
encryption basics.

It seems like everytime I work on this my outside connection uses something
different. I have one vendor who uses SMTP and PKZIP files with passwords.
Another one uses PGP as a default but only uses SSL on an exception basis,
etc., etc., etc................and then there was the discussion on SSH.
