You don't convert AFP to DDS. It's been a while since I looked at the manuals but basically, you create an overlay object and you can associate that overlay to your output by using the OVERLAY DDS keyword or the OVERLAY parameter on CRT/CHGPRTF. I'm pretty sure the archives have some good stuff on AFP. Are you still working out the concept, or is there a specific task that's bogging you down? --buck
