    I don't know what I did the first time that it told me I had an imvalid
fld delimeter,  but I tried it again after you said it worked and I got my
file.

I was able to get your second option to work:

CPYTOIMPF FROMFILE(MRLCHAUDIT/CARPRCAP) TOFILE(MRLCHAUDIT/CARFHIRE)
STRDLM(*NONE) FLDDLM('*')


I couldn't get the first option though.  We are on V4R5.
