Denis, I have been playing around with James for a while. It seems to run fine on the iSeries. It provides several Java mail servers including SMTP and POP3. I have spent upwards of a few hundred hours working with the native SMTP and POP3 servers on the AS/400 and from what I have seen so far James looks promising. Also, I am familiar with the developers and have confidence in their abilities. You can download James from the Apache Jakarta project Web site. The URL is http://jakarta.apache.org/james David Morris >>> DRobitaille@cascades.com 11/29/01 11:29AM >>> Hello all, I know how to send Email from my Iseries using the snddst command. But how do send Email from a Java program? If someone know how, or better yet where to look for this info, I would apreceate. tahnks Denis Robitaille Directeur services techniques Cascades Inc 819 363 5187 fax 819 363 5177
