my memory isn't the best even on things I did yesterday. Maybe it was top to bottom. Normal HP apps don't scroll up from the bottom, by the way. You erase a screen and paint it with fields at particular positions, the process is extremely fast, most users won't notice a screen painting unless they are on a slow modem.
