Thanks Marylou. I can't remember exactly which model it was (I'm in a
different office this week), but we did get a statement straight from Epson
that this particular model did not have the codes we needed for this
customisation.

Hi,

I have had experience with numerous Epson printers, 440, 580, and one other
model.  I know that for the 440, you have to use the PDT option, and select
the ELQ2550 from the list of .pdt.   This is for the printer emulation
session.  Mostly every one in the School District has a printer thru
Emulation.  (The don't like to go "running" for the output.)  Let me know
which one in particular, and I'll check to make sure I have one, and how
it's set up thru emulation.
(They all do different stuff), and I'll let you know.   And I do agree that
HP and Lexmark are the easiest ones to set up.
