M Hello Art, NFS requires that the servers are started in a specific order. STRNFSSVR *ALL will do that automatically. If you start them manually you must start them in the correct order. The NFS manual documents the order and the STRNFSSVR command help text does also. The error message tells me that the Remote Procedure Call daemon is not running. Check the joblog for the QNFSRPCD job and see if that tells you more information.
