Actually, it's not them. die.net is not the spammer, someone has gotten a
die.net e-mail address and is using your smtp server to send their spam. The
mailer gets stuck in a "tar pit" (teergroobe) and you catch the hang.

But what it means is that someone IS using your smtp server to deliver spam.
