Here's a couple of thoughts: 1. Multi-line edit. Now, I know that it's not easy for you to change the actual sizes of input capable fields; you use the technique of sticking an attribute at the end of an input field to simulate its size. But it would still be nice to change the contents of multiple records at once. So perhaps allowing us to select one (or even two) fields, and then being able to change the selected field(s). Obviously, there would be a limitation on the size of a field so changed, but it sure would be nice. 2. Copy over. This is a bit bizarre, but nice for certain circumstances. It would be nice to select a record, and then have a screen pop up with all its fields. Next, select one or more of its fields. Then, you would go back to the multi-line view and be able to select a new option for one or more records which would copy ONLY THE SELECTED FIELDS over the contents of the old records. This is nice for duplicating data without wiping out key fields. Of course, a pure copy over of all fields would have some use, but the field mask idea could be used for other things. 3. Clear by field mask. Clear the fields in the field mask. 4. Search by field mask. Search for contents only in the fields in the field mask. 5. Copy by field mask. Copy a record, duplicating only the data for the fields in the field mask. In any of the above cases, the field mask could be negated - that is, copy a record, duplicating only the data for the fields NOT in the field mask.
