We did a 600 to 720 upgrade (including adding 5 new drives) and despite losing
one our existing drives (raided) it was successful. We are planning a 720 - 820
upgrade and I understand that the LIC is installed on the 8.5 gig drives in the
820 frame.
Keep us posted on how it goes.
