Have them display Client Access Properties under some pretext such as verifying 'Service level' or 'Install date/time' or something so you aren't blatant about questioning what they're telling you; and make sure they read off the name of the product. Also, what route are they using to link to your AS/400? I'd assume it's via Internet through a router for example?
