That is not exactly accurate, Brad. Certainly the Term DHTML is used to
encompass style sheets, Javascript, and HTML code and the term "Dynamic
HTML" is used to encompass jsps, asps, and CGI.

But the reason that DHTML goes beyond that is that it also is a reference
to the new opcodes created for HTML and CSS to give browsers more power to
create a GUI without needing to rely on the host machine to react to mouse
movement or cursor actions.

The new level of op-codes go well beyond the tags supported in previous
levels of "standardized" static HTML. Because of that, much of what is
DHTML is now supported only by IE, the only browser with the money to keep
up.

Including CSS into HTML is a little like including SQL into RPG. When you
are done, it isn't really like saying, "Yeah, it is just RPG." If a whole
new world of stuff is pushed into the SQL definition then the RPG
application now supprts that. Same thing, but in the world of HTML the only
browser with an income is the only one that can keep up with the new
features.
