I don't know about "not even close".  My 5250 emulation JSPs look and act
almost exactly like 5250 screens, including cursor sensitivity, function
keys, popup windows, and so on.

On a 1200 baud modem, that made a difference.  That's what made PUTOVR so
attractive.  Even on a 56KB modem, my JSPs aren't perceptibly slower than a
TN5250 interface.  We demoed it at iSeries DevCon, and it worked great.  On
a high-speed ethernet, it's not even an issue.
