Thanks jt. No, not a hobby. He's a consultant like me only with a little more $ <g>. I remember a long time ago when he had more time on his hands he got hold of the S/38 internals manual and read if not all of them, a lot. He couldn't afford a S/38 then, but nowadays an AS400 is faster, cheaper, and has a better OS. Looks like I only have one real question left, that NIC. Thanks again!
