Not "some sort of a" bridge. My tool is very simple: provide a web interface for existing legacy applications. That's the first step in redeployment, as I wrote about in my book over a year ago. The fine folks at Linoma Logic, with their Ambassador product, provide the rest of the solution - the ability to develop not only web applications, but pretty ANY application - thick client, thin, whatever - using data and programs from any machine in your network, regardless of platform or language.
