This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I'm using our AS/400 to distribute email both internally and externally to our clients, which is working well. The problem I'm having is when receiving email into the AS/400: I've configured my SDD as a system-message-store, and preferred address type of SMTP and added an SMTP name for myself. If I send an email FROM the AS/400 to my SMTP address, it arrives and is placed in /QTCPTMM/MAIL/TUCKERG, from where I pick it up using Outlook as my POP3 mail client. If however I send an email from Outlook (through MS Exachange) to the same SMTP address, it still arrives at the AS/400 but gets placed in /QTCPTMM/SMTPBOX. At this point the QTSMTPBRSR goes crazy and hits 20% CPU-usage, until I end the SMTP TCP server and use the QTMSCLEAN procedure to fix the problem. Any ideas why this is happening? I've trawled the web and all available IBM documentation but cannot find the answer. We are on V4R5 at the latest PTF level.
