I have always enjoyed your posts and contributions to this list. I hope I did not offend you, I just vented. I feel better now. Some products can support a tiered structure, but for some it does not make sense. I forget who here said that vendor's are lazy and ride on IBMs tier, that is VERY true. When I resell an EDI translator to a company that has a P50 box and needs to EDI with one customer, because they are demanding it, it is very hard to justify. Maybe for EDI translation software a per partner or per document fee on an annual basis makes sense, of course with an "unlimited" option.
