Not long ago we refitted many of our plants to use Fujitsu phone switches. Even enlarged a room to hold one of their switches. Had to make the room look pretty so Fujitsu could demo their switches (we got a deal). I think we had the largest install east of the Mississippi. Now Fujitsu is pulling out of the North American phone switch market. We are replacing all of these switches (talk about a SERIOUS chunk of change!). The problem is that we've purchased the isdn card for our 400 and are trying to get the Dedicated Fax for iSeries working with inbound calls. We can get it to work except we cannot get the routing digits. And with 1,000 phone numbers and 800+ Notes seats we don't want to route these manually. Fujitsu said that this would work months ago. Now they are thinking we might need a hardware upgrade, or wait for the next release. Gee, I'm holding my breath on that one. We outsource our phone support. We have a Sprint person on site 8x5. This person, and IBM, have been in communication with the Fujitsu people.
