RE: EDI Info Needed

HIPAA is the acronym for the Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act of 1996.

Mandated many changes related to privacy and accountability for medical
records.  Kinda like a special Y2K for the medical industry with many
mandated changes required for systems.
