When I configure the 5250 session, I check the boxes that say use the pc name and leave the name box blank. But my pc name is in the network config files on the pc. As for the numbering, checking the boxes that say "avoid duplicates" does that for me. You say the lan name is IS24, but is that name coming from a DNS somewhere or is that name in your pc on the networking dialog? =========================================================== R.
