No, I didn't take it the wrong way at all.  I appreciated the chance to
doublecheck.  Yes. The LAN name for the workstation is IS24.  I tried
*PCNAME, %PCNAME, PCNAME, *PCNAME% and several other variations.  None
worked the way the Help says
