if you want to stop LDAP running in the first place

a) use ops nav and set to autostart no

b) from a prev pend:
>>Look at file QATOCSTART in QUSRSYS.  That has the autostart information
for
both TCP/IP servers and Host Servers.  The autostart value can be safely
changed from *YES to *NO with any file maintenance utility.<<

c.) there doesn't seem to be a CHGLDAPA cmd (at least not on V4R3) like
other tcp services
