Tony, Yes, this works, and it's surprisingly easy. I think this is the article you are referring to.... http://www.as400service.ibm.com/supporthome.nsf/document/10000051 It works for any email address, not just on the same 400. We have this set up at several clients for when people are on vacation or salesmen who are on the road. We also use it for when the customer wants me or one of the other consultants to have an email address on their domain, so we don't have to check 20 different mailboxes. We just forward everything to our corporate mailbox. If I remember, the hard part was figuring out how to turn forwarding OFF(the article doesn't mention that). I can post a CL we use to do this if you like, but I think there's already an example in the list archives. Lou Schmaus CCA, Inc. I'd like to set up email forwarding to allow email sent to, for example, corbett@atlantaheights.com to arrive in mailbox william_corbett@hotmail.com. The "real" email address listed is a live email address on my server...I'd like to be able to "forward" this email to another account for when I'm traveling, or possibly to set up emails using my domain name but forwarded to a client's private email address. For example, mail sent to roger@atlantaheights.com actually shows up in rogerdodger@xyz.com mailbox. I know this can be done on an internet hosting service, I'm doing it now on XO's (unix) email services. I believe this can be done on the AS400 I have referred to the "email forwarding" information in the AS400 knowledgebase articles, but the info I can find seems to be just for forwarding to another email address on the same AS400. My real question is: if this will work, how do I set up the user id and SDD entries to accomplish this? Any routing entries necessary? What am I missing? Thank you for your help.
