Alexei: I thought I should get my statement on record that you're one of the IBMers whose opinion I respect. And I understand completely about opinions on lists, etc., such as MIDRANGE-L. Your participation is very appreciated. Anything said here must be interpreted as "pure opinion", if for no other reason than the fact that any posting can be forged. Overall, I was hoping that there was a clear statement that was available from IBM on QRPLOBJ that you could point to -- a manual topic, a SKB document, something in InfoCenter (hey, stuff can be hard to find in there; it could be buried). I essentially agree with everything you've said and your last posting covered all the potential dangers well.
