>Could anybody tell me how I can copy a spoolfile >(AFPDS) into a databasefile. Would like to remove >the AFPDS attributes in order to copy the spoolfile. Hi Chris! This is not easy to do. CPYSPLF won't work, but there are spooled file APIs that will do this for you, sort of. See http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/200006/msg01565.html for one. The spooled file API manual is the best(?) reference for all this stuff. There is no simple, clean way to extract the text from the AFP commands. If you want to try commercial software, I believe that TAATOOLS handles AFP spooled files with CVTFRMSPLF. http://www.taatool.com There may be others - check News/400 ads.
