Re: Computer Languages

I am vaguely aware that we have split into multiple lists.  Could someone
please provide a summarization of what we have, and don't have?

This really belongs in the non-technical list, but I tried to join it & I
think that is tied up with David struggles, so I will wait until he
resolves
current challenges & will try again.  Thanks for the humor but you have an
version of it that predates inclusion of langauges in our 400 world, but
some
other people have added to various versions of the list based on apparently

missing languages.  This did come up in this list some time ago, if you
check
the archives, when they are up.

We need to organize this stuff alphabetically by language so we can see
when
people have added new stuff in one version not in another version, so we
can
pick out the best and/or combine them.

RPG:
Create DSPF for Foot, Create PF for Bullets, Create PGM for Gun.
Compile. Determine errors in one or all three.  You eventually shoot
yourself in the foot.

SNOBOL:
If you succeed, shoot yourself in the left foot.
If you fail, shoot yourself in the right foot.

ACCESS:
You point the gun at your foot and pull the trigger.
A little flag pops out of the gun which reads,
"Error: call to undefined dynalink".
The gun then proceeds to explode in your hand.
