Thanks.  That's we ended up doing.  Had to download some PTF's to get it

We had a 820 installed with the 2771, and the SE indicated
that IBM had not setup the ECS comms properly.

I'd make a service call and get an SE in to set it up
properly.

We just received a new 270 (which was DOA and it took IBM two days to
wiggle the right cable and get it going, but that's another story) which
has the internal modem (2771).  When we tried to activate the QESLINE,
first it had an invalid resource, which we changed, but it still won't vary
on and gives an error about something being mismatched.

I suspect the ECS line was not configured for this modem type.  Has anyone
else had that problem, and if so, what did you do?  Or if you have one that
is working and could copy the configuration, that would also be helpful.
