Steve, > The primary question though is dbcs support of the as400. Is it a dead end? I was reading through old emails and fond this question - just have to respond. DBCS support in OS/400 a dead end? Not likely. IBM has a very nice market presence in Asia, and unless someone convinces the Japanese and Chinese to junk their 1000's year old character sets for Latin letters, I think DBCS support has a very secure future. ;^) jte +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
