>So which of you still uses RPG for new development?

We use RPG and Cool:2E (formerly Synon), but a portion of our package is
written in Delphi (fat client). We are tentatively looking for ways to put
a graphical face on our package, so we're looking at WebFacing very
carefully. Traditional screen-scrapers give remarkably hideous results
considering that all the screens have the exact same layout (being machine
generated).

We are losing sales to companies that have a graphical interface; even a
screen-scraped one. For better or worse, we must go that route. In
addition, the undeserved "old and tired" reputation of the iSeries is losing
some sales as well. There have been tentative discussions about platform
independence. Client/server of some sort will help in that regard.
