Mike, Maybe you have an iSeries Poltergeist (iSP)? ;-) It's been a while, so I can't remember the exact command. It was something like Work with Service Information or Work with Service Providers. That will take you to a menu where you can update the telephone number, which the system uses to reconfig the controller description.
