This is why I say there should be no compensation other than cash. Corporations have employees over a barrel because of fringe benefits, the most important being health ins. Remove those fringe benefits from the equation, and you can walk anytime, at will, with little price to pay. Why do we have fringe benefits? Because of wage freezes during WWII. It was the only way to give someone a raise. Now, we're enslaved by them. I know a lot of people who won't quit to get a better job because of their "benefits". I'd call them chicken except often they're right.
