Chuck, Yeah, that appear to be the problem to me too. If they were all PC's attached TCPIP you could use the TCPIP address and it seems to work fine. Unfortunately, it doesn't hold up for dumb terminals. I can'f find a common bit of information when a user signon on to the same terminal with a different address. As far as the idea of using a file to track the terminal names, I was hoping to do it completely from some system information. A file with the names of terminals would be diffiecult to maintain/control in our environment.
