John,

Glad you replied because I missed this post. Hate to disagree with ya,
but...

History has proven that all monopolies come to an end. The oil barons, IBM,
others...

All organizations either fall apart because of failure, or implode on their
own success. It's guaranteed... Over time...

MicroSoft doesn't understand the fundamental principle that Customers
provide jobs which provides profits.

The Linux movement, which has been carried a long ways by wild enthusiasm,
doesn't understand the forces they trifle with.

The only question, in my mind, is *when* these organizations will sink to
their proper level, not *whether*. And whether IBM and the iNation (in
whatever form it comes to take) will be prepared to capitalize on (or rather
maximize the opportunities presented by) the events of the day. You're on
the Freedom Council, so you have an awful lot to say about how things turn
out. Same as the rest of us iCitizens.

I salute you...;-)

jJt

The attackers had access to a Windows NT directory that houses Web banking
customers' login names and encrypted passwords, the report stated. Using
"brute force" decryption techniques, a hacker could decrypt the passwords
and compromise accounts.
