Just to set the record straight, October is generally one of the pleasantest
      months for visiting Minnesota.  Besides the fact that temperatures will
      still be moderate, the trees will be clothed in glorious fall colors.
      Often there is a good long week of Indian Summer some time during the
      month. Check out average temperatures during October on the weather

If you wait until November to come, you should expect things to be a little more
 frigid; generally, the snow starts in November and stays with us until March or
 April.
