I see two replies related to IP addresses, but since it's always "system 1" telnetting to "system 2", there is only one IP address being used. The end users are on dumb terminals connected to controllers. Thanks for the idea (I've already been scheming on telnet exit programs, but haven't figured out what I can do with them yet.) > -----Original Message----- > From: William Corbett > Sent: Tuesday, July 17, 2001 10:09 PM > To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange. com > Subject: Re: automatically signon another system via telnet > > > Sean, > You should be able to use a telnet exit program and allow nosignon to the > second system, if you know the IP addresses to be used. > > I haven't thought this one all the way out, but you should be able to and > make the telnet exit program handle this for you. > > William A.(Tony) Corbett > corbett@asresources.com > http://www.asresources.com > +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
