The 2 paragraph article I saw in the business section this morning wasn't
too clear <g>, but I'm guessing it's the JVM.  I think it's a non-issue
except that it has high enough buzzword synergy (Microsoft + Java) that it
seems newsworthy.

This is an interesting statement.  Most people don't use the "Microsoft
operating system" to run Java.  They use either the Sun or IBM JVM on their
machines; is Microsoft saying that those will no longer work?  If that's the
case, how many OTHER applications won't work with XP?  Or are they just
acknowledging that nobody uses their JVM anyway?

On the other hand, if they're talking about Explorer, are they saying that
applets will no longer run inside Explorer?  That ought to upset more than a
few people.
