Iw would if IBM Let it.

The entire Bumblebee line is priced to compete with other servers
running Domino. The danger IBM faced with that was those persons (Not on
THIS List of course) who would buy one, load Domino, set-up two mail
users and then load their ERP/DRP/etc package on it. They save a LOT of
money having paid LOTS less than they would have to acquire an
equivalent 820 or 270 without the yellow strips.

So just like IBM COULD let interactive run on the entire processor
(proven by years of history from B30s through 640s) they COULD let DB2
access run full speed on Bumblebees. But they don't. And in reality
it's good for all of us as it sells more hardware.

If you check the System Handbook, there is a separate CPW rating for
these boxes when running traditional workloads and it's Tiny! (Right
around 10% of total CPW).
