This is not very clean and probably not the way you want to go but, what I did on our printers was add a entry in the Reply list to answer both of those printers messages on our laser printers, as long as the form doesn't change this has worked great for us, cept' the users freak when they get any kind of a message now.

ACTUALLY you get a G for Load Form Type and then an I for verify alignment.
Normal procedure is to take a G and then an I.

The device didn't recreate as something different than it was before did it ?
Reason I ask is that if there was a Reply List Entry that looked for a specific
printer and this changed, they would be seeing this when they hadn't before...
