was a "Feature" and the "Extended Uptime" version would be released in a
future upgrade at modest cost.

Humor aside, isn't it nuts that this is what is taking turf from AS/400s?
What MIS man in his right mind makes that choice? Okay, I understand that
the guy _working_ for Microsoft are pretty much obligated to use their
products and that applies in this case. But outside of that arena, "What
were they thinking?"
