    Actually I had not. We had restarted Management Central per
instructions but not all of TCP/IP. We also were not in a position to do
so as the 400 was across town and in production.....

    I have now fenagled a way in from another machine on the same LAN
via SNA so that I could restart TCP and SHAZAAM!  That's the answer.
