Jose,

I've never had any problems with serial printers (be they card embossing
machines or label printers) as long as I had them connected via a good print
server on a TCP/IP network.  I've used both HP and Lexmark print servers
with serial printers and had excellent results.  However, I've never used
Monarch printers specifically.  I used to work for a company that used
EZPrint, and I did find that Formula One's tech support was very helpful, at
least a couple of years ago.  Chances are, they've set up or assisted with
set up of these printers before - so you might give them a call.
