You did remember to create an empty save file on the AS/400 first, right? That's caught me so many times it's not funny. And you are trying to write to file QGPL/SAVF ? That's what the error is saying. FTP should be: <log in> binary put c:\savefiles\savefile.sav mylibrary/mysavefile Of course, after you create the save file MYLIBRARY/MYSAVEFILE HTH, Jim Langston Date: Thu, 5 Jul 2001 10:46:49 -0400 From: "Urbanek, Marty" <Marty_Urbanek@stercomm.com> Subject: Re: FTP save files At 22:47 07/03/2001, Tony Pack wrote: > I have used FTP to save/restore save files from an AS/400 to my > PC for >quite some time. It needs to be PUT pcfilename LIBNAME/SAVFNAME Don't forget to use BIN transfer type. - -Marty +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
